In addition to the fees, NG requires the reimbursement of incurred expenses. Disbursements are expenses, which NG has paid to third parties: court fees, expenses to service a writ of summons, translation expenses, expert fees, ... Besides the expenses paid to third parties, NG also asks to compensate for administrative expenses: sent letters, faxes, e-mails, photocopies, etc. ... These expenses are billed at a standard rate and/or in detail in the final fee note.
In principle, NG asks you to pay a provision fee. The provisional fee is a sum of money, which you will have to pay at the start of a file in order to cover the disbursements, administrative expenses and performance expenses, which NG will make for you. Further, depending on the agreed fee calculation method, NG may request the payment of additional provisional fees before sending you the final fee note at the end of the case. Upon request, NG will draw up an intermediate fee note. All provisional fees will be deducted.
Please don’t hesitate to ask questions in case of doubt as to how our fees will be charged. This way we can try to avoid any misunderstanding.
